CIX Nature X (CNX) is a global nature-based standardised contract representing a curated delivery basket of large, well-established and globally accepted carbon credit projects that support Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation, the conservation and sustainable management of forests, and the enhancement of forest carbon stocks (REDD+).
Spanning the Americas, Africa and Asia, the selected projects collectively account for close to two-thirds of global REDD+ market volumes.
The CNX basket is actively curated based on size, recognition, trading activity and the absence of non-standard project characteristics to alleviate market concerns over project delivery risk.
